I’m hating this whole adulting sham.

When I was a kid I was told, “Just be sincere till your tenth standard. Life after that is smooth.” After my tenth I was told, “It is just twelfth standard. One more board exams and you’ll be out there minting money.” Post that I realized for a good job for a middle class girl all I need is to complete my graduation.
Now I have realized all these years I was training myself for the worse. I didn’t want to grow up and do things. I wanted to grow up and live and survive on vacations. No one told me I’ll have to be responsible for anyone other than myself.
No one told me, I’ll have no time or interest to read a book because I’ll be exhausted all the time.
I wish I could ask for a refund from the creator.

  2. Adulting is not all that appealing. When we were children, all we wanted was to grow up. But now that we’re adults, we’d give anything to go back.
